One Day

1st Verse:

One day I hope that all will be safe
One day would be nice to give up hate
One day I hope all this nonsense will go away
One day to leave us alone and live our own way
One day I’d like to see the innocent not be teased
One day I’d like to be around others who are pleased
One day to come forth and bring us peace
One day to guide those away from homosexuality
One day for the young kids to be free
One day for the homeless to be off the streets
One day for us Christians to be accepted
One day for the world not to be sex driven

Chorus:

What will the earth become
What our we thinking of
Is this all that is left to see
Is the world how we want it to be
Can we change the negativity
And Bring fourth peace and serenity

[One day, someday, yesterday, today, everyday
Can we possibly change] (x2)

2nd Verse:

One day I’d like the media to fit my criteria
One day would be nice to have complete control
One day to have people be away from alcohol
One day for others to be more responsible
One day to come along and give me a reason
One day away from stress in all four seasons
One day when there is no such thing as treason
One day when the mass majority believes in Jesus
One day for me to feel more relaxed about living
One day other people would be happy to start giving
One day when suicide is no longer existent
One day when murder is not ever so consistent
One day to reflect back on the good in my life
One day to no longer face the pressures of strife
One day of having no emotions involved with anger
One day to enjoy a nice long breathe of fresh air

Chorus:

What will the earth become
What our we thinking of
Is this all that is left to see
Is the world how we want it to be
Can we change the negativity
And Bring fourth peace and serenity

[One day, someday, yesterday, today, everyday
Can we possibly change] (x2)

What will the earth become
What our we thinking of
Is this all that is left to see
Is the world how we want it to be
Can we change the negativity
And Bring fourth peace and serenity

[One day, someday, yesterday, today, everyday
Can we possibly change] (x2)
