The majority of people want fortune and fame
To be at the forefront with many chanting their name
Thinking that the spotlight is what they deserve
Yet, many don’t actually put in the proper effort

In order to reach such a spot you must gain strong support
However, treating people kindly to get it is where they fall short
Arrogance is a friend to nobody and ruins lives
Eliminating people’s chance at connection before it even arrives

Entitlement has hindered the progress of millions
Leading to an epidemic of missed opportunities for those civilians
It doesn’t matter how you slice it the statistics are there
If you want to elevate yourself then first you must actually care

Selfishness doesn’t equate to long lasting prosperity
One may feel success on the surface, but not in its entirety
So many think they have the roadmap to get to their peak
Only to get deeply lost leaving themselves severely weak

Loneliness doesn’t make someone alone, their choices do
If they want to feel fulfillment then they need to improve
As it is said, actions speak louder than words… which is true
An idea can’t become a reality without some form of activity pushing through
