She made a lot of promises, but they were all empty
She was given an absurd amount of time, way more than plenty
The attitude always seemed intentional behind the statements
However, the results in action were always absent

Lots of people label themselves as influencers
Yet, they don’t actually fit the mold of being a creator
Their time is invested in things that are already established
Without ever putting their unique spin on things like they wished

The majority just try to copy whatever it is that seems popular
With a severe lack of innovation being witnessed making most unpopular
If they aren’t willing to put in the time to expand their own brand
How can they convince others to buy into any sort of plan

A fear of trying new things to separate themselves from the masses
Isn’t going to improve their value whatsoever and their growth will be slower than molasses
Then there’s the crowd that adopts arrogance once success arrives
Taking for granted all of the help and support from others that made them thrive

Ignoring where it is they came from and the efforts of kind individuals
Will only result in a sharp decline due to the lack of quality principles
One way or another they’ll experience loss at a great cost
With tons of people’s resources and time having then been tossed

An immense amount of situations and relationships have been affected
There is evidence all around for us to find that is well documented
Stories come and go with elements of drama and intrigue
Trying to keep up and analyze it all though results in fatigue

Best thing for all parties involved is to focus on proper priorities
Treat others how you want to be treated, a simplistic reality
Give credit where credit is due and be authentic through and through
Genuineness is extremely hard to find, but with it on our side we can find joy in all we do
