At the same time the root cause is slipping away
As we continue to allow morals to decay

Many think certain approaches are ok
When it really only attaches a bandaid
If you want the cure you need to hit the source
Which for some reason is debated away of course

Look at the masses of survivors reaching out
We need to realize the true evil that needs to be taken down

It seems there is truly an outbreak
Nobody forgiving themselves for past mistakes
Saturating their current mind state

What’s done is meant to be learned from
So why are so many limiting their options
Not giving themselves a chance to move forward
Instead deciding failure is what they’ll go toward

It’s heartbreaking knowing so many doubt
Constantly putting themselves down
I wish when I looked out and about
There weren’t so many excruciating frowns

The forecast seems to be cloudy with a chance of rain
As tears are falling while people bind themselves in chains

People no longer approach marriage with full force
It’s like they find comfort in the notion of divorce
Many broken homes leaving kids stranded
Then they wonder why discipline never landed

Selfish reasons seem to be in every season
All year around there’s relational treason
Cheating has never been so rampant
I don’t know how people can stand it

Thinking they can get away with the act
Or just simply don’t contain any tact
It’s hazardous to the characteristic of trust
Which has always been somewhat of a must

All the dilemmas and problems circling around out there
Is it just me or does anyone else find it strenuous to prepare

So with all the nonsense that comes in our life

How can you miss someone you’ve never officially met
Some may wonder, but the simple answer is adoption
Many out there on one end or the other
Being the growing child or venturing Mother

In my case it never really bothered me until I was older
The time when understanding escalated without closure
There’s a woman out there who did the best she could
Giving me an opportunity that she thought she couldn’t

Once life reaches a certain point many thoughts arise
All I’ve wanted was to say thank you as I look into her eyes
Chances are that will never happen while I’m here
No way to know if the desire to meet is at all similar

Then with as much time that has passed is she even alive
There’s far too many questions now to cloud my mind
Not knowing certain things that can impact my future days
I just wish she knew my life has excelled in a number of ways

Few things actually do last forever
But not many believe in those endeavors

It isn’t simple to navigate life’s adventure
Constantly living under pressure
So, many fall in line with certain pleasures

The definitions get skewed as many don’t know what to do

Love and marriage, commitments fallen through
Humanity and race, both of which fit the same shoe
However, nobody pays attention to what they once knew
As hatred and disdain seem to continue

You may ask yourself what exactly is it I should do
Not I as in me, but I as in you

The views of today haven’t been forever
They also don’t belong to the one most clever
For them to last or even become has been a tragedy
One that deserves to see its ending

Unto Battle

Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before.

1st Verse:
Like a thief in the night He is coming
No matter how fast or far you’re running
The war wages on in the depths of this planet
Until the time comes for the great judgment

You say you don’t have faith
When it is a built in human trait
Unfortunately your lack of belief
Won’t keep you from the consequences forming

These people are so unforgiving
Trying to pounce on you at all times
The separation of Church and state isn’t fine
Since within these borders both reside

Each time the arguments are used
It is to try to diminish and abuse
The one that holds the correct views
When does the government concede to you

Their service is suppose to be in our favor
When they don’t show any concern that’s proper
It’s getting ridiculous the audacity they show
Acting as if Christ is the one who should go

What do they know, they’re dead in sin
I don’t care where you think life begins
Without alterations life is created
The choice happens prior to conception

All these people blind to the facts
They all don’t want to think just react
We get told that sharing is caring
So I’ll share the biblical message that’s worth blaring

The threats today are more unique than ever
Anywhere from kids to respected elders

The battles we face aren’t always seen
That is where people are the most lacking
They are susceptible to what they don’t expect
Which is why spirituality deserves your respect

How could things formulate without creation
Give me all of your alternate suggestions

It doesn’t matter your explanation
I can guarantee it doesn’t meet expectation
There is always someone out there complainin’

This world is majorly a large sea

Just because there isn’t understanding

Much like the translations of history
How can one accept some and not all
Where do you draw the line at learning

The truth is we’re one race with ethnicities
So interracial and racist are used incorrectly
Whatever happened to living in harmony
It seems hatred is breeding over coexisting

I refuse to conform to an idiotic society
The true King will maintain my loyalty
Drugs and sex aren’t needed in my reality
I’ll leave that for those with misguided fantasies

My generation has fell into such tragedy
I feel out of place and from a different time
